"If eyes are windows to the soul, artist / photographer Kay Lynn Reilly captures the heart, soul and beauty of those who come across her path. It is amazing to me that someone with no prior knowledge of her subjects, their history, their lives, their relationships, can spend a day, an hour, an event, with these people and convey to the world, their laughter, their joy, their spirit, and their relationships. Kay has photographed both my children since the day they were born. I usually disappear and let them do what they will for Kay. I usually feel that this will be the time that they won't listen, won't be nice, won't smile, and I will end up with a slew of terrible photos.
